Undefeated Junior Middleweight, U.S. Olympian to Fight in Indio
Undefeated junior middleweight Hugo Centeno Jr. will fightKeAndrae Leatherwood in the scheduled 10-round main event tonight of a seven-bout card at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.
The 22-year-old Centeno, an Oxnard resident, is 17-0 with nine knockoutsin a professional career that began in March 2009. Leatherwood, a 24-year-oldfrom Tuscaloosa, Ala., is 12-1-1 with eight knockouts.
The card also includes a scheduled four-round heavyweight fight betweenDominic Breazeale of Alhambra, who represented the United States at the LondonOlympics and who has won all three of his professional fights by knockouts, andRonny Hale of Montgomery, Ala. (2-5, 2 KOs).
Roberto Duran, who won championships in four weight divisions during hisHall of Fame career, will meet fans, sign autographs and pose for picturesfrom 6:30-7:30 p.m. inside the Fantasy Springs Special Events Center.
Doors will open at 5 p.m., with the first fight set to start at 5:15p.m. Portions of the card will be shown on a delayed basis by Showtimebeginning at 11 p.m.
