Lanes shut down again on I-10 after a two car accident
Two poeple were taken to the hospital and multiple lanes were shut down on the eastbound side of Interstate 10 at the Gene Autry/Palm Dr exit today after an accident involving two cars.
The accidentoccurredjust before 1:15 p.m. when California Highway Patrolreceivedreports of an overturned car in the center divider.
Traffic was backed up for about two miles after the crash and during clean up.
One man and one woman were taken to the hospital following the accident. The extent of their injuries is not known at this time.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
