U.S. Border Patrol agents shot at in Thermal

U.S. Border Patrol agents were fired upon today inThermal, but escaped injury, a sheriff’s sergeant said.

The shots were fired about 1:15 a.m. in the 87-000 block of KokellStreet, sheriff’s Sgt. Mike Tapp said.

Deputies searched the area but couldn’t find any suspects, he said.
