Assault With a Deadly Weapon

Palm Desert police responded to a fight involving three Hispanic male adults on Friday, at about 9:03 p.m.

When officers arrived at the intersection of Fred Waring Dr. and One Quail Place they found a nineteen-year-old Hispanic male adult from Palm Desert who had been assaulted. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

A short time later, a local hospital notified the police department that a twenty-two-year-old Hispanic male adult from Palm Desert arrived in the emergency room.

Police say the second Hispanic male had also been assaulted and he sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation revealed that both victims were assaulted during the physical fight with a third Hispanic male adult. After the fight, Police say the third Hispanic male got into a dark-colored sedan and fled the area.
