Drunk driving arrest in La Quinta
One person was arrested and one taken to the hospital after a early Sunday morning crash in La Quinta.
La Quinta police say the accident happened just after 3:00am at Avenida Bermudas and Calle Ensenada.
Officers say the driver of a Toyota Corolla was southbound on Avenida Bermudas when he hit a parked truck. His passenger, a 19 year old female, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, 21 year-old Justin Shook of La Quinta, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and booked at the Riverside County jail in Indio.
