Tonight on News Channel 3: Is there a Palm Desert connection to the Jimmy Hoffa mystery?

Jimmy Hoffa disappeared on July 30, 1975. Over the past 38 years, Hoffa’s disappearance sparked a lot of speculation and many searches.

The latest search centers on a bar in Cleveland, Ohio. In the basement, the owner, is taking down a wall some that could be Hoffa’s final resting place. In addition to 11 bone fragments, the owner found a matchbook from the Palm Desert Lodge. The lodge was dubbed “the house Jimmy Hoffa and the Teamsters built.”

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office will now try to determine if the bones are human.

The previous owner of the Cleveland tavern found bones inside the wall 25 years ago.
