Motorcyclist injured in Palm Desert DUI crash

Palm Desert Police say a motorcycle crashed at the intersection of Gerald Ford Dr. and Pacific Dr. Saturday night just after 10:00.

Police say the motorcycle drove up onto the center median, collided with a large rock and the rider was ejected off the motorcycle.

Jesus Salinas, age 33 from Corona, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
