Woman punches cop, tries to steal his TASER

A San Jacinto woman was arrested Saturday night after allegedly making “terrorist threats” aimed at a roommate and her family members. She also punched a cop in the head and tried to steal his TASER, according to authorities.

Late Saturday night, police were called to a home on the100 block of North Alessandro Ave in Hemet afterreceivingreports of a woman threatening to kill a roommate and her family at the location.

When police arrived, they encountered 53-year-old Jackie Carter. When officers tried to take her into custody, she punched one of them in the head and tried to steal his TASER.

The officerreceivedminor injuries, but did not require medicalassistance.

Carter, on the other hand, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries she sustained during the altercation.

She was later booked for making terrorist threats, attempting to take the officer’s TASER, and felony resisting arrest.
