Overturned big rig blocks HWY 74 near Idyllwild
A big rig jackknifed today on a highway south ofIdyllwild, blocking lanes going in both directions, according to the CaliforniaHighway Patrol.
It happened at around 11:15 a.m. on state Route 74 at the turnoff toMountain Center.
According to the CHP, the tractor-trailer was stretched across the two-lane road, which was expected to remain shut down until at least 12:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
