14-year-old boy, 15-year-old girl arrested in Palm Desert

Two teenagers were arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly breaking into a Palm Desert home on San Pascual Avenue.

Around 2:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a burglary on the 44400 block of San Pascual. Two teenagers, one boy and one girl, were seen leaving the area of the crime.

Deputies located a 15-year-old girl “in the area” and arrested her after finding stolen property in her possession.

The 14-year-old boy was found at a nearby apartment complex. Police arrested him after finding stolen property from the burglary in his possession as well.

Both kids were transported and booked into the Juvenile Hall Detention Center in Indio.
