Cathedral City restaurant hosting “Christmas in July”
Cello’s restaurant in Cathedral City is holdingits “Christmas in July” food drive this month to benefit senior citizens.
Cello’s is accepting donations of canned food through July for theCathedral City Senior Center, which arranges the food like in a grocery storeat its Palm Canyon Drive location and at the Rancho Mirage Mobile Home Park. Canned goods are needed the most, according to the Cathedral City Chamber ofCommerce.
In exchange for a can of food, donors will get a free non-alcoholicdrink at lunch. Cello’s also will accepting donations of hotel shampoos,conditioners and lotions, according to the chamber.
