Man shot dead in Thermal
A man died in Thermal this morning after a shooting near the intersection of Dillon Rd and Ave 48.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, police responded to reports of a shooting in the area at about 12:24 a.m. When they arrived, deputies found a Hispanic man in a dirt field who had been shot dead.
The deputies quickly secured the area and contacted investigators.
There is no word on a possible suspect at this time. The victim’sidentitywill not be released until next of kin has been notified.
