When police finally located Whitney Harrison, shebecame combative with deputies and kicked a sergeant in the face before spitting on her.

Harrison was arrested for driving under the influence, hit and run and battery on a peace officer. She was taken to John F. Kennedy Memorial as a precaution and booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio.

The drivers of the second and third vehicles were not injured. The officer sustained no injuries.
