Inland Empire gas price falls to lowest level since January 31st

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped Thursday to its lowest amount since Jan. 31, decreasing 1.3 cents to $3.844.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has fallen for 23 consecutive days and 29 of the past 30, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 4.8 cents less than one week ago, 22.5 cents lower than one month ago and 25.3 cents below what it was one year ago.

The average price has fallen 22.5 cents over the past 30 days, including seven-tenths of a cent on Wednesday.
