Inland Empire gas price falls for 28th time in 29 days

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire fell Wednesday for the 28th time in 29 days, decreasing three-tenths of a cent to $3.819, its lowest amount since Jan 31.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 3.8 cents less than one week ago, 22.1 cents lower than one month ago and 29.6 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has fallen 21.4 cents over the past 29 days, including a half-cent on Tuesday. It decreased 24 consecutive days, rose eight-tenths of a cent on Saturday, then resumed falling Sunday.
