Man robs Palm Desert CVS

A man who said he had a gun robbed a Palm Desertpharmacy today, a sheriff’s spokesman said.

The robbery was reported about 11:15 a.m. at CVS Pharmacy in the 42000block of Washington Street. A man entered, walked to the pharmacy counter and“simulated a gun underneath his T-shirt,” then left with an undisclosedamount of items, Riverside County sheriff’s Deputy Julio Oseguera said.

The suspect ran off and deputies couldn’t find him, Oseguera said. Noinjuries were reported.

He was described as white, in his 30s, wearing a black baseball cap,black sunglasses, a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
