No injuries after truck overturns trying to avoid another car
No injuries to report after a big rig jackknifed in Palm Desert.
Police were called to the eastbound side of Interstate 10 just before 11 p.m. Tuesday. That’s where the driver of an 18-wheeler says he swerved trying to avoid another car.
He veered off the freeway and hit a light pole near Gateway and Dinah Shore.
The truck ran past the train tracks and landed on its side in the desert.
