State of the County speaker announced
The senior vice president of Goldenvoice, producer of the Coachella and Stagecoach musical festivals, will speak at the State of Riverside County luncheon in Palm Springs next week, it was announced today.
Skip Paige will be the keynote speaker at the event, scheduled for Wednesday at the Palm Springs Convention Center, according to Riverside County’s Economic Development Agency. Coachella and Stagecoach are held each April in Indio.
“I am delighted to have Skip Paige share with us the history and background of Goldenvoice and the company’s plans in the Coachella Valley and elsewhere in Riverside County,” Supervisor John Benoit said.
A business expo will be held in the morning with community, business leaders and government leaders. At the luncheon, Palm Springs Mayor Pro Tem Chris Mills will speak about developments in the city, videos from each of the five supervisorial districts will show achievements from the past year and future plans, and Benoit and county CEO Jay Orr will discuss new ideas and business initiatives in the county, according to the Economic Development Agency.
Tickets are $50 in advance and $75 at the door. Tables of eight are $400 and business exhibit spaces are $100.
