Holiday parking lot opens at Palm Springs International Airport
Palm Springs International Airport will offer extra parking and terminal shuttle service starting today to help handle the Thanksgiving travel rush.
The airport’s Economy Lot on Kirk Douglas Way will open at 4:30 a.m., and parking is $10 a day for overnight travelers, city spokeswoman Amy Blaisdell said.
Free shuttle transportation will also be available between the lot and the main terminal.
Blaisdell said travelers should arrive at least 90 minutes before their flights to allow enough time to park, check in and get through security.
