Congressman Raul Ruiz set to visit with a number of organizations this Thanksgiving holiday
Democratic Congressman Raul Ruiz plans to make several Thanksgiving-related stops in the Coachella Valley today and tomorrow.
His schedule includes a stop at 9 a.m. Wednesday at a Food Now turkey distribution event at 14080 Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs.
At 10 a.m., he’ll be at the Martha’s Village and Kitchen Thanksgiving dinner at 83791 Date Avenue in Indio.
At 2:30 p.m. this afternoon, he’ll visit the Galilee Center Thanksgiving dinner at 66101 Hammond Road in Mecca, and at 4 p.m, he’ll be at the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission Thanksgiving dinner in Indio on Van Buren Street.
Tomorrow morning, Ruiz will make an appearance at the Martha’s Village and Kitchen’s annual Thanksgiving Day 5-k race in Palm Desert and also make stops in Banning and Hemet.
