Pedestrian hit by car in North Palm Springs
Palm Springs Police say a person was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in North Palm Springs at Indian Avenue just South of I-10 late Tuesday evening.
Traffic on Indian was backed up for a short time while crews cleared the roadway and emergency vehicles made their scene to the victim.
The pedestrian, was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive says Palm Springs Police Spokesperson Sgt. Harvey Reed.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
