Fire rips through Palm Desert home
A fire ripped through a home just before 8 o’clock tonight on the 77 500 block of Alcot Circle, in the Whitehawk community of Palm Desert.
No one was in the home at the time of the fire, according to fire crews.
The first arriving engine company reported a well-established fire showing through the roof of a two-story single family residence.
The fire caused around $300,000 worth of damage. Firefighters were able to save $100,000 worth of the property.
Nearly 40 fire fighters were on scene to fight the blaze, they were able to contain the fire in about twenty minutes.
