Man arrested in Desert Hot Springs robbery

A man has been arrested in connection to a robbery that happened earlier this month off of Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs. Officials with the Desert Hot Springs Police Department said Brandon Cortez-Hill, 22, was arrested with some help from the U.S. Marshal’s Office and the State Parole Office.

Police were called to the 12200 block of Palm Drive around 5:30 p.m. on December, 2, and found the victim, a woman with head trauma.

Police said after a thorough investigation, Cortez-Hill was arrested for the robbery.

Officers haven’t released information about what was stolen or the victim’s injuries. The investigation is ongoing; we’ll deliver more details when they’re made public.
