La Poderosa 96.7 FM #1 for 27th consecutive rating’s period
Gulf-California Broadcast Company’s KUNA-FM radio station, La Poderosa 96.7 FM, is the #1 station in the Palm Spring’s DMA for the 27th consecutive Arbitron ratings period. This is for people 12 years old and up, regardless of language, from 6am to midnight.
La Poderosa 96.7 FM is completely locally produced – with our daily programming starting at 5am until 10am – with our program “El Show del Greas” with El Greas, Adolfo Iiguez and Lina Robles.
At 10am until 2pm, Salvador Cisneros is on the air, which he hosts the very popular “La Hora del Recuerdo” from 12pm to 1pm. And at 2pm, the very popular host, Sammy Bernal, is on the air with his very charismatic personality until 7pm.
La Poderosa has been one of the local stations with the most community interaction – hosting now for the 15th year – the St. Jude Radiothon – where our local radio listeners donate money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This year the radiothon will be held on March 20th and 21st.
La Poderosa and all of our on-air talent, each year, have participated in the widely anticipated “Las Posadas” – which each day for a 12-day period – hosts approximately 300 people at each sponsored location.
