Fire engulfs grove of palm trees in Thermal
CAL FIRE is cleaning up the scene of a massive fire that spread to at least 20 palm trees in Thermal.
Officials said the fire was located on Avenue 60 just north of Jackson Street. They called in additional engines to help contain the fire which was spreading quickly from windy conditions.
KESQ & CBS Local 2 News were at the scene. There’s no word what caused the fire, the investigation is ongoing.
