Missing man found safe in Indio
A man who was reported missing Tuesday afternoon was found Wednesday around 11 a.m. after someone spotted him laying in a field near the 46-200 block of Arabia Street.
Wayne Paul Denney had a seizure and was still extremely confused, according to police.
The Indio Fire Department took Denney in for a medical checkup and emergency personnel said it didn’t appear he had any life-threatening issues.
Denney was first reported missing by his family around 1 p.m. Wednesday when he was last seen walking away from his home in the 46-200 block of Arabia Street.
The Indio Police Department searched for Denney in all of the places he was known to frequent, but nothing turned up until a pedestrian spotted him in a field near his home on Wednesday after suffering a seizure.
