Verdict reached in teen sex case

(CNS) – A La Quinta man who was accused of having a sexual relationship with his girlfriend’s then-14-year-old sister was acquitted Friday of all charges.

Jurors deliberated about a day before acquitting Daniel Patrick Armstrong, 32, of four felony counts — oral copulation with a person under 16, committing a lewd act with a child under 16, sexual penetration with a foreign object and furnishing marijuana to a minor.
