Bush twins wrap up Rancho Mirage Speakers Series

The twin daughters of former President George W. Bush will wrap up Rancho Mirage’s 2014 Speakers Series tonight.

Barbara Pierce Bush and Jenna Bush Hager’s talk starts at 7 p.m. at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower Medical Center. No tickets were available online as of Tuesday night; the series hotline is (760) 770-3205.

This year’s series’ previous speakers were novelist Jackie Collins, actress Ashley Judd and former White House press secretary Dee Dee Myers.

Bush is CEO and co-founder of Global Health Corps, an organization that advocates health equity, and a member of UNICEF’s Next Generation Steering Committee, which works to reduce the number of daily preventable deaths of children.

Hager is a contributing correspondent to NBC’s “Today Show” and author of “Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope,” about a young woman with HIV inspired by Hager’s internship at UNICEF.
