Construction project will affect traffic on Date Palm

A construction project in Cathedral City will cause traffic delays through mid April.

According to the Public Works Department, the Emergency Storm Water Drainage Repair project is taking place on Date Palm Drive.

The work started Monday morning at Los Gatos Road.

North and southbound traffic will still be open on Date Palm throughout the project but drivers should expect short delays.

Officials anticipate the project to be completed by April 15th.
