Bighorn sheep fence may be on the way
A new fence may have to be built in La Quinta to keep bighorn sheep up in the mountains and off the golf courses.
Recent video posted on YouTube, along with televised sightings of the bighorns during the Humana Challenge at P.G.A. West, are shedding light on an issue that wildlife officials and the Bighorn Institute want addressed.
The video on YouTube showed more than a dozen bighorns including rams, ewes, and 6 lambs.
