Intersection back open after 3-car crash in Palm Springs

A crash in the middle of the intersection of N. Indian Canyon Drive and Racquet Club Road shut down traffic in the area for a short while Tuesday morning.

Sergeant Harvey Reed said three cars were involved in the collision and the intersection was temporarily closed. Traffic was diverted in the area for about a half an hour.

Two people complained of chest and neck pain but there didn’t appear to be any major injuries. Tow trucks were called in to clear the vehicles from the roadway and traffic is operating normally once again.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
