Slight Drop in Gas Prices in Inland Empire

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped a half-cent today to $4.274, decreasing for the third consecutive day.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 1.2 cents less than a week ago, but 24.2 cents more than one month ago and 40 cents higher one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price dropped a half-cent on Saturday and four-tenths of a cent on Friday after not changing by more than one-tenth of a cent for four consecutive days.
