Crash in Palm Springs leaves one person with major injuries
An investigation is underway into the cause of an overnight crash in Palm Springs.
It happened just before midnight on Tuesday at 11:52 p.m.
Police were called out to a single-vehicle crash on the eastbound lanes of Dinah Shore Drive just east of Crossley Road.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
It’s not known if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the wreck.
Police closed the eastbound lanes of Dinah Shore Drive between Crossley Road and Whispering Palms Trail for several hours. The road reopened around 9 a.m. Wednesday.
