Deputies search for missing woman in High Desert

A mentally disabled woman disappeared over the weekend after she walked away from her home in Johnson Valley.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, 58-year-old Renee Dusko was last seen on Saturday at about 9:30 a.m. Deputies heard that she may have tried to walk to the Yucca Valley area.

Dusko is Caucasian, 5’3″ tall and weighs about 172 lbs. She has brown and gray hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing a gray and green faded t-shirt and she may have been wearing red or green shorts, deputies said.

She is mentally disabled and needs help. Anyone who may know her whereabouts is asked to call the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station at (760) 366-4175 and refer to case #091400679.
