Big rig blocks traffic on Highway 62 after jack-knifing
Highway 62 is open again in both directions just north of the I-10 west of Desert Hot Springs.
A big rig jack-knifed near Painted Hills Road shortly before 4 a.m. Friday.
The wreckage was blocking Highway 62’s up-hill lanes headed toward the high desert.
The truck has now been cleared from the roadway.
No injuries reported.
