Fire destroys mobile home in Desert Hot Springs

Three adults found themselves displaced Monday following a fire that destroyed their mobile home in Desert Hot Springs, authorities said.

The fire at 64625 Pierson Blvd. was reported at 11:11 p.m. Sunday, said Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson. The single-wide mobile home was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived, she said.

“The mobile home was completely destroyed,” she said, adding that the American Red Cross was asked to help the three displaced residents find temporary accommodations.

The cause of the fire was under investigation, Hendrickson said. No injuries were reported.
