Local 10 year old to be acting Indio Police Chief Wednesday

A 10-year-old boy who lost part of a leg in a freak accident at school will be acting police chief in Indio tomorrow. Adrian Grajeda, a student at Lincoln Elementary School in Palm Desert, will tour the police station, then attend the Indio City Council meeting at
night. He was chosen to be acting chief by Chief Richard Twiss, police spokesman Sgt. Dan Marshall said.
