Record setting traffic at Palm Springs International

Virgin America will return to Palm Springs International Airport next season with direct flights to San Francisco and New York.

Passenger levels are at record highs at the airport this year, up 9.3 percent compared with 2014.

Other airlines are also adding or expanding service. WestJet is adding capacity on flights to Calgary and Vancouver between May and October. Delta Airlines will be adding service to Seattle, Salt Lake City and Minneapolis.
