Anza quake downgraded to 3.2

A small quake shakes the Coachella Valley Thursday afternoon.

The 3.2 quake struck at 1:41 p.m. about 10 miles east-southeast of Anza and 16 miles southwest of La Quinta, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Residents from both ends of the Valley called our news room to report feeling the quake.

The quake was first reported as a 3.3 earthquake but later downgraded to a 3.2.

No damage or injuries were reported.
