Man identified after deadly shooting in Mecca
A 20 year old man was killed Sunday night in a shooting in Mecca.
Deputies were called to the 65000 block of Dale Kiler Road at 11:59 p.m. when someone reported an assault with a deadly weapon, according to a release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
When authorities arrived, they found 20-year-old Juan Ceballos had been shot several times. He died at the scene.
No suspects have been identified.
Detectives from the Thermal Station and Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Central Homicide Unit are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Gomez of the Central Homicide Unit at 760-393-3527.
