Road work in Rancho Mirage expected to last 4 months

Starting Monday, road work at a major Rancho Mirage intersection is expected to cause traffic delays through mid-November.

Work at Frank Sinatra Drive and Highway 111 has begun and will continue through Nov. 12. Improvements include adding left turn lanes at eastbound Highway 111 and westbound Frank Sinatra Drive.

Motorists should expect lane closings in the area between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to the Rancho Mirage Public Works Department.
