Missing at-risk senior found
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said a Rancho Mirage man who was reported missing Tuesday has been found safe.
There were no immediate details regarding the whereabouts of 72-year-old Walter Thomas Loebmann, or how he was found.
Loebmann was last seen at about 12:30 p.m. in Rancho Mirage on Bob Hope Drive before he was reported missing. The sheriff’s department said he’s known to suffer from some medical issues.
Deputies believed that he may have been trying to make his way to the Desert Hot Springs area.
