“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump will receive a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars today

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump will receive a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars today.

The dedication ceremony is scheduled for 9 a.m. at 155 S. Palm Canyon Drive.

Former ‘NSYNC member Lance Bass and “White Party” founder Jeffrey Sanker are scheduled to speak, and Vanderpump will be presented with a city proclamation.

“As our city’s former queen of the White Party and a dedicated supporter of our LGBT community, Lisa Vanderpump is much loved in Palm Springs and throughout the world,” said Palm Springs Mayor Steve Pougnet.

Vanderpump was crowned queen of the White Party in 2012 and received a 25th anniversary Icon Award at this year’s event. She often spends holidays and vacations in Palm Springs where several “Real Housewives” episodes have been shot and supports local charities, including the Desert AIDS Project.

Vanderpump will be the grand marshal of the Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade in December, according to the Walk of Stars.

Vanderpump started acting as a child and has appeared in films and television shows including the 16th season of “Dancing With the Stars” and music videos.

She joined Bravo’s “Real Housewives” in 2010 and last year got a spinoff show, “Vanderpump Rules,” which centers on two of her restaurants.

She and her husband, Ken Todd, own 27 restaurants, bars and clubs in London and Los Angeles. They have two grown children.
