Fontana man arrested for alleged cock fighting ring

Police is Fontana arrested a man after finding over 500 roosters on a mans property.

During the service of the warrant, 529 roosters were located on the property, most of which were kept in a manner consistent with being raised and trained for Cock Fighting. Many implements for Cock Fighting were also located at the property including metal gaffs, training mitts, veterinary medical supplies, wound treatment medication and fowl transport carriers.

The owner of the roosters, Eugenio Carbonel, was booked at West Valley Detention Center for Possession of Game Birds for Fighting & Possession of Cock Fighting Implements.
