Earthquake reported NE of Indio

The USGS is reporting an earthquake with an initial magnitude of 3.3 that occurred shorlty after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

According to usgs.gov, the quake struck about about seven miles northeast of Indio.

KESQ and CBS Local 2 viewers have been calling our newsroom and posting on social media after feeling the earthquake.
