Palm Springs police investigate shooting that injured dog
The Palm Springs Police Department is trying to track down suspects who shot at a home on Gateway Drive Thanksgiving night.
Officers were called to the 800 block of Gateway Drive in the Desert Highland area just after 8:30 p.m. The suspects fired several rounds at the home and ended up shooting a dog in the leg.
The dog was taken to a veterinarian for treatment and is recovering.
Nobody else was injured in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing and details are limited at this time.
