Musicians announced for 69th annual Date Festival in Indio

Organizers of the 69th annual Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival in Indio have announced an exciting lineup of musicians headlining the 2015 event, which takes place from February 13-22.

According to the release, country music up-and-comer Brett Eldredge, who won the CMA award for New Artist of the Year in November, will start out the fair with a performance on February 14.

Latin superstar Ramon Ayala takes the stage on February 15. Organizers said he’s expected to pack the house with his mastery of Norteo music. Pop singer Andy Grammer joins the fair on February 20 with his upbeat , melodic songs.

Fans of funk and soul music will be happy to hear that the Commodores will be joining the lineup as well, bringing back the days of Motown on February 21.

And closing out the fair will be SuperFiesta on February 22; a collection of bands organizers said are sure to get the crowd moving.

The Fair, in Indio, runs February 13-22, 2015. Gates open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m. General admission is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, $7 for youth, $6 for group bus tours and no cost for children 5 years of age and under.
