Gradual cooldown ahead with rain chances arriving for Halloween

THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) – Conditions are seasonal to start the week, but a gradual cooldown is coming!

Highs tomorrow should be a touch cooler than what we've seen in the Coachella Valley today. Expect to warm up into the mid- to upper-80s.

Early indications show rain possible in SoCal starting Friday evening. Long-range models are still split on how much rain we could see, with some models showing most of the moisture staying to our south. At this junction, it would be wise to factor in the rain chances for your Halloweekend plans.

Temperatures gradually start to cool Tuesday and beyond. By Friday, we expect highs in the low 80s, and we should see a return to the 70s by the weekend as the rain potential and clouds arrive.
