‘CHiPs For Kids’ toy drive continues in Coachella Valley

The California Highway Patrol’s Indio office continues to collect toys for its annual ‘CHiPs for Kids’ toy drive. The CHP will collect toys for needy children under the age of 14 in the Coachella Valley through December, 21.

According to Officer Mike Radford, anyone wishing to donate a new, unwrapped toy can visit any of the Walgreens in the Coachella Valley, Mathis Brothers in Indio or the Indio CHP office.

Again, the last day to donate a toy is December 21. All toys will benefit needy children here in the valley.

News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 are proud sponsors of the CHiPs for Kids toy drive. Our stations along with the CHP is asking everyone to help give every needy child in the Coachella Valley a fantastic holiday this year.
