What does it take to get to Carnegie Hall?

The La Quinta High School Wind Symphony has the chance to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York, but they need help to get there.

The group held a small concert Monday to raise money for their trip. The group still needs about $35,000 of the $75,000 it will cost to make the trip in March. The group is also hoping to perform at the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum.

Board members say it is a dream come true.
